How it works
From first look to booked
Three steps take you from your first search to a secured date. Here's what happens at each one.
Step 1: Browse and compare
Search approved venues and vendors by category, guests, price and venue features, or switch to the map. Open a listing to see its packages, prices, reviews and terms. You can look around without an account.
Step 2: Message and request
Ask questions in chat, then send a booking request for your date and guest numbers, with a package or asking for a quote. Nothing is charged when you send it. The business approves, declines or proposes changes.
Step 3: Pay securely and stay on track
Once a business approves, pay its booking fee through Stripe to secure your date, then the balance before the wedding. Reminders, receipts and your planning checklist keep everything else in order.

Know where every booking stands
Send a request with your date, guests and package. Once the business approves, you pay its booking fee through Stripe's secure checkout to lock in the date, then the remaining balance before the wedding. Each booking shows its status and the next step, so you always know what's waiting on you.
- The cancellation policy is locked in when you send your request, so later changes by the business won't affect you.
- A new price or date from the business, or an extra item, comes to you to review first, and only applies once you accept it.
- Before you cancel, you see exactly what you'll get back. If the business cancels, you're refunded everything you've paid.
- A receipt for every payment, and a booking confirmation by email.
Planning checklist
A checklist that knows the paperwork
When you set up your wedding, EverAfter builds your checklist: around 45 tasks, from setting a budget and booking vendors to sending thank-you cards after the day. Set a date and each task gets a due date counted back from it.
- The legal paperwork your celebrant will ask for, from birth certificates or passports to two witnesses aged 18 or over.
- A warning if your wedding is less than a month away and your Notice of Intended Marriage isn't ticked off.
- Tasks for the services you need, each with a shortcut to Find one in Browse.
- Change your date, choose Update checklist, and your open tasks get new due dates.

Packages with prices up front
See what's included and what it costs before you ask: a fixed price, a starting price, per guest or per hour. Venues also list their capacity, accessibility, wet weather option and more.
Availability calendars
Listings show free and busy dates, and Browse can show only the businesses that are free on your wedding date. Businesses can sync their Google, Apple or Outlook calendars, so days booked elsewhere show as busy. Sign in to see them.
Chat with businesses
Ask questions, use quick replies such as “Is our date free?” and share inspiration photos. Your date, guest numbers and location sit at the top of every conversation.
Reminders that do the chasing
We email you, and send a push alert if you turn them on, before a booking fee window closes, as your balance falls due and before final guest numbers are needed.
Every booking in one place
Each booking shows the total, what you've paid, the balance due and the days to go, with a reference to quote to the business. Tap Add to calendar to save it to your own calendar.
Reviews from real bookings
Only couples who paid a booking in full can review it, and only after the wedding. Businesses can reply, and anyone signed in can report a review that looks wrong.

No listing fee and no subscription. EverAfter keeps 5% of each payment a couple makes through EverAfter, taken automatically. Stripe's own processing fee is paid by you, from your Stripe balance.
Your terms, your way
Set your booking fee, how long couples have to pay it, when the balance is due and your cancellation policy. Start from Flexible, Standard or Strict, or customise every number.
Paid through Stripe
Couples pay you through Stripe and the money goes to your own Stripe account, then out to your bank. If a refund is made through EverAfter, our fee on it is returned to you in proportion.
Your calendar, in step
Block dates, set how many bookings you take a day, and sync with Google, Apple or Outlook, so couples can't request days you're booked elsewhere.

Is EverAfter free for couples?
Yes. Browsing, chatting with businesses, your planning checklist and booking through EverAfter cost couples nothing. You pay the businesses you book, and EverAfter doesn't add a fee of its own on top.
Do I need an account to look around?
No. You can search and filter Browse, use the map and open any listing to see its photos, packages, prices, reviews and terms without one.
A free account lets you save favourites, message a business, see its availability and request a booking. When you sign up, you're brought straight back to the page you were on.
How do payments and refunds work?
Once a business approves your request, you pay its booking fee (a percentage of the total, set by the business) through Stripe's secure checkout to lock in your date. The remaining balance is due a set number of days before the wedding.
If you cancel, your refund follows the cancellation policy saved on your booking, and you see the amount before you confirm. If the business cancels, you're refunded everything you've paid.
What does it cost to list my business?
Nothing. It's free to list, with no subscription. EverAfter keeps 5% of each payment a couple makes through EverAfter, taken automatically, and the rest goes to your Stripe account.
